Word of Warning begins – greenroom’s legacy
greenroom has now ceased trading and it’s former home at 54-56 Whitworth St West is now being developed by Trof.
However, the legacy lives on… Word of Warning
hÅb, greenroom’s long-standing partner is delighted to be able to announce this new project that, we hope, goes some small way to plugging the railway arch shaped gap!
Word of Warning is a small ongoing ‘performance collection’ – a regular chance to see some of the kind of work you might have seen at greenroom, at affordable prices in a range of venues across manchester.
Launching on 17 February 2012, 7.30pm at Zion Arts Centre with some old greenroom friends, Third Angel, with their new show: What I Heard About The World by Third Angel + mala voadora (tickets £8/5)
Word of Warning is also a weekly no-nonsense, text only email update, signposting contemporary performance within range of Manchester. To receive the weekly concise, no-frills mailer; occasional Word of Warning programme mails and/or even more occasional postal news, please go to bit.ly/warnmcr and let us know your preferences.
Word of Warning is brought to you by hÅb with Zion Arts Centre, Contact, Flare, DiGM + Live at LICA and supported by Arts Council England.
A greenroom legacy project.
