BIG VaudeVille 100

£6/£4 in advance

Fri 24th October, 7:30pm

VaudeVille 100 to celebrate 8 years and 100 shows - the cabaret to end them all!

The event will be a multi-stage/space festival of artistic endeavours in the spirit of DadA and the absurd. Inspired by the original Cabaret Voltaire (circa 1916) and the enduring tragedy of the 21st century.

Since 2001 the workforce of VaudeVille have laboured night and day to bring you new electric cabaret.* (Whats that you ask? We’ll explain later!)

Now our crack team of wordsmiths, minstrels, public speakers, bards, prancers and serious heavy-weights present the culmination of 100 shows action research…

For one night only; a cabaret of cabarets (A META-CABARET if you will) … VaudeVille 100.

Over 50 artists will present diverse work including: short art films, boxing puppets, performance poetry, live art, debate, opera, monsters, theatre, clowns, miniature performance and a talking sponge. (In a line-up that stretches the limits of reasonable punctuation.)

If you like any of the above, imagine how much you’ll LOVE all of it pouring into your senses in a non-stop feast of artistic endeavours .

NB: This event has limited capacity so please buy your ticket in advance from greenroom Box Office on 0161 615 0500 and to celebrate 100 shows advance tickets are available for the economy boosting price of only £4 (£6 door), advance tickets are only available until 6pm on the day of the performance.
