The bells chime and winter wind whistles as the year comes to an end. Santa, hidden away in his secret lair, rubs his belly in anticipation of all the freebie mince pies and mulled wine sacrifices put out for him on HIS day. Yes, HIS day. But wait, what is that? The red giant’s bristles tremble as he senses a disturbance. Something… some… occurrence is distracting the people away from his fat ego? But what? Why – it’s this year’s festive BIG VAUDEVILLE of course!

The ethos of VaudeVille is inspired by the original Cabaret Voltaire (circa 1913) – deliberately absurd performances, poetry, and visual art that embrace the extraordinary, the irrational, and the contradictory. If you want to see avant-garde original movies, a bicycle on fire or even a sock puppet version of A Streetcar Named Desire then VaudeVille is for you!
