Well at last summer appears to be here, and to celebrate, Green Bohemia is presenting two excellent upbeat summery bills of superb original music for the two July events.
There really is something for everyone in July’s Green Bohemia gigs. Highlights include the fantastic Kid British & The Action Manky, who recently signed a big record deal with Mercury; Orchids who are taking a break from their usual massive Academy 3 gigs to play a very special intimate full band gig; Gillan Edgar and Kamal Arafa – quite simply two of Manchester’s finest acoustic songsmiths - performing back to back on the same bill.
Full on rock and roll from the mighty Six10Repeater and The Yellhounds; a rare performance from two of London’s finest songwriters, Daniel Hammersley and Ali Whitton; also a fantastic chance to see Jesus In India play a stripped back acoustic set following their recent Manchester Academy 3 performance; and two excellent newcomers in the form of Will Tang and Eleanor Lou.
If that’s not enough to tempt you down then you are impossibly hard to please!

Big bands in a small place! One of Manchester’s longest-running and most successful original music nights. Twice a month, greenroom in association with SA Promotions hosts new and established artists in the wonderfully intimate setting of greenroom’s mezzanine.
Due to overwhelmingly popular demand, Green Bohemia now hosts two nights every month of the year, on consecutive Saturdays, featuring the best music from this fantastic city, from a host of great artists and bands performing 100% original music. Some are signed, some are not, all are brilliant!
