Manchester’s longest-running and much loved alternative night – Green Bohemia - now into its 7th year, is a haven for all things folky, quirky, acoustic and slightly left of the centre! Last month’s massive birthday bash was awarded the prestigious title of City Life’s Gig of the Week, and now we’re back again in March with another fabulous line-up of artists presented on the wonderfully intimate mezzanine balcony venue.
The bill includes some Green Bohemia favs – such as Kamal Arafa & The Moonlight Band, whose amazing songwriting and wonderful vocal harmonies have ensured they are a popular favourite with regulars of Green Bohemia; Rene return to the GB stage just ahead of a massive show next month at Manchester Academy 3; and James Munro is back with more of his wonderful acoustic tracks.
We also have a number of great artists making their debut at the night this month, including The Cornelius Crane, Skinny Bones, We Build Bridges and Robin Mukherjee, who between them will be sure to bring a world of diverse, new and exciting styles to Green Bohemia.
As always, there is no specific music policy at Green Bohemia – we have one rule: if it’s good we’ll put it on, and if it isn’t we won’t! The result is always an unpredictable yet fiercely original collection of artists performing some of the best music around in Manchester at the moment. Arrive early if you want a seat as it usually gets very busy. Entry is FREE TO ALL!!
