The FUTURESONIC 2008 Special Events
Saturday 3rd May - GREEN BOHEMIA Vs TRIPTRONIC and Sunday 4th May – ELECTRO-BOHEMIA Special!
This month Green Bohemia cosies up with the fantastic electronic festival FUTURESONIC, bringing you two days of the absolute best electronic bands on our roster.
The Saturday event will be run in conjunction with excellent Manchester electro collective TRIPTRONIC, bringing you live sets from the awesome SHMOO, THE TENDER MACHINE and WITH THAT KNIFE. We will also be bringing hotly tipped act HITCHCOCK up from London. SI CONNOR will be opening the night, with his heavily electronic and FX-influenced take on the classic singer-songwriter genre.
The live acts finish at 11pm and then we will be running a clubnight until 2am, with an exclusive live set from London-based a9ent0ran9e whose last 3 releases have gone straight into the top 10 breakbeat download chart. Resident DJs, Entropic Reveversal & Theanon Wonder from MFTBS will be on the decks until 2am.

Then on Sunday night, Green Bohemia will be hosting a second FUTURESONIC Special event from 8pm til midnight, featuring more exceptional electronic acts from the Northwest.
On the bill on Sunday’s event are THIS MORNING CALL, THE GLORIOUS YANG and MODERN BULLIES (formerly DFD), all playing full band sets. We also have a live set from lively electronic two-piece THIS LIFE. The night begins with 2 sets from acoustic artists with an electronic twist – ROD THOMAS from London, and KEV FOX from Manchester.

Big bands in a small place! One of Manchester’s longest-running and most successful original music nights. Twice a month, greenroom in association with SA Promotions hosts new and established artists in the wonderfully intimate setting of greenroom’s mezzanine.
Due to overwhelmingly popular demand, Green Bohemia now hosts two nights every month of the year, on consecutive Saturdays, featuring the best music from this fantastic city, from a host of great artists and bands performing 100% original music. Some are signed, some are not, all are brilliant!
