Kino Shorts returns in October with a programme of local and North West shorts, plus several from outside the region.
In true Kino fashion, we bring you a few surprises including the premiere of one of V+M’s latest Digital shorts, “My Lad” directed by local filmmaker Sami Khan and produced by Eddie Robson (producer of previously screened film “Outside”). This is one of our favourite recent films to come out of the North West, so do make sure you don’t miss this one.
Also included in the programme will be:
David Valentine’s “Computer Love“, an unusual digital short from down Essex way, shot entirely on web cam which we thought was well worth including in the programme due to it’s rather different approach to filmmaking; Robert Lonsdale’s short from the North East, “Ya! Joking Aren’t Ya“; Jens Blank’s hilarious and humorous animated short “Cooked” from the National School of Film & TV; and Loran Dunn’s student short from MMU “By My Hand or His“.
