Kino Shorts returns from the summer break with a bumper programme of Mancunian and North West shorts plus a couple of really top shorts from outside of the region.
Included in the programme will be Richard Addlessee’s graduate film The Perfect Lover, Liam Shanagher’s ghost story Block and Dan Smythe’s excellent The Mess Hall of an Online Warrior which was made on a £200 budget and screened at last year’s Cannes Film Festival as part of Vision + Media’s North West Expo.
Directors and producers for most films will be present and will partake in Q & A’s after their films, as always interviewed by rock star and media commentator John Robb.

…about Kino Shorts
Kino Shorts is an evening of new short films selected for their quality of production & originality, with a Q&A session following each film screening. Films are short fiction, animation, experimental or documentarymade in the last 12 months. Occasionally the programme may include a premiere of a North West feature (check web site for up to date programme). There is also a late bar and time for networking.
