This month vaudeville takes the form of a Global Warming Summer Special with Edward Barton and selected Edward Barton movies.
Also featuring mostly original stuff from Chris Fitzsimmons, Aliki Chapple and miscellaneous ‘Mystery Guests’.
“…the spectacle is worth the price of admission alone”
VaudeVille is a platform for live art and experimental performance. If you want to see avant-garde original movies, a bicycle on fire or even a sock puppet version of A Streetcar Named Desire then VaudeVille is for you!
The ethos of VaudeVille is inspired by the original Cabaret Voltaire (circa 1913) - deliberately absurd performances, poetry, and visual art that embrace the extraordinary, the irrational, and the contradictory, It’s the night to see and show eclectic contemporary performance.
If you have an idea for an act or performance that you think would fit into VaudeVille please email Jex via technical@greenroomarts.org to discuss your ideas.
Or just come along and drown your bitterness in the strong liquor of VaudeVille!
Check out VaudeVille’s website: www.thevaudevillian.co.uk for an insight into the minds of these vaudevillians.
