Caution Horses
Caution Horses were founded in 2005 whilst studying Contemporary Theatre and Performance at Manchester Metropolitan University.
Caution Horses are: Ella Hall, Sam Carpenter, Hayley-Jane Sims and Ryan Doyle.
Concerned with the composition of performance, Caution Horses devise experimental theatre that is loud, confusing, quiet, challenging to the eyes and ears and that questions the art of performance making; looking at performance as disaster and disaster as performance.

At emergency Caution Horses performed Act Two: While There’s Tea There’s Hope. As a Method Lab Artist’s Caution Horses developed this piece to include an exhibition.
In a dark place where you do not wish to be, the three that dwell within lurk in anticipation. A place you do not wish to be seen in
A place you would avoid if you had the choice
A place that repulses you
A place so vile you dare not speak its name
But above all, a place where you repulse yourself.
The lurkers, revel in this place. They are confused by you. You seem to have forgotten, that it was this place that was your saviour. Perhaps you choose to forget? Ungrateful swine’s!
Come and join the three that dwell within and share their enthusiasm over a cup of tea.
